What is Plannter?
Plannter is an app for managing farm work orders. It connects farmers with suppliers and lets you run orders, status and documentation in real time, for spraying and for other jobs such as fertiliser, soil prep and harvest.
Which devices is the app available on?
The app is available for iOS (iPhone/iPad) and Android. You can also use the management interface from a browser.
Is there a trial version?
Yes. We offer a 30-day free trial with no credit card required. You get access to every feature on the basic plan.
What is a farm management system for farmers?
Software that brings plots and a map, work orders, fleet GPS, a schedule, costs, inventory and plot history into one app for farmers and suppliers.
Using Plannter
I'm on another system today. Can I move to you?
Of course. When you move to us you can sign up and import everything you already have straight into our system with the "Import data" button.
Does the app work offline?
The app supports basic offline use: you can view existing orders. Sending new orders requires an internet connection.
Sprayers and suppliers
How do I move my suppliers over to you?
You can add suppliers when you place an order and we take care of the rest. Your supplier gets real-time notifications with your order.
What does a supplier need in order to join?
A supplier only needs to download the app and register. There is no extra cost for suppliers: the platform is free for them.
Orders, tracking and documentation
How do I order spraying in Plannter?
The farmer opens an order, picks a plot and fills in crop, product, dose, area and date. The supplier gets a notification and sees the same order.
Can I also order aerial spraying?
Yes. The same order works for ground spraying, aerial spraying or a drone. Fill in the plot and product details, and note the application method. The supplier confirms and schedules around weather and field access.
Can I order jobs that are not spraying?
Yes. The same order fits fertiliser, soil prep, harvest, moves and field repairs, as long as you fill in the plot, job type, date and a field contact. Spraying is a clear example, not the whole product.
How does a supplier receive and confirm an order?
The supplier gets a notification, sees the same order (plot, job type, product, area and date), checks availability and confirms. Then they schedule the job. The farmer sees the confirmation on that same order.
How do I follow the order status?
Farmer and supplier see the same status: received, confirmed, done. The supplier updates it, and both sides get a notification. No need to call or search a thread.
How does a supplier track the jobs they received?
The supplier sees their order list and statuses in the same system. They update received, confirmed or done, and the farmer sees the same update.
What if the supplier is not in the app?
The supplier also needs Plannter so both sides see the same order. You can invite them and they can start a 30-day trial.
How do we change the date because of weather?
The supplier updates the date on the same order. The farmer sees the new date and gets a notification, without another round of calls. That is true for aerial spraying and for any weather-dependent job.
How do we document and report a spray or other completed job?
After execution the order is written to the plot history: what was done, when, with which product and dose, and who did it. Farmer and supplier see the same record.
How do I get documentation after the job is done?
When the supplier marks the status as done, the record is saved on the plot. Both sides can open the order and see what was agreed and what was done, without searching a thread.
Is the history saved?
Yes. After execution the order is written to the plot history for every job type, not only spraying: what was done, when, with which product and dose.
